ロシアや東欧などでTeamViewerリモートアクセスマルウェアを用いて政府や軍の最高機密を盗み出すスパイ活動

暗号化された機密文書を解読するための暗号鍵を狙っていたらしい。

政府関連システムだけではなく企業もターゲットとされていたとされるので，日本の企業も含まれるかもしれない。
