スマートフォンによって近くにあるＰＣのキーストロークの80パーセントの精度で読み取る実験に成功との報告

あくまでも実験結果に過ぎないので，一般的な攻撃方法になるかどうかはわからない。

しかし，もし攻撃手法の一つとして定着すると，スパイウェアの防御だけでは歯がたたないことになる。テンペスト攻撃に対する防御の応用（エミッションの阻止）を考えなければならないのだが，そうなると，無線デバイスとしての効用が失われてしまう可能性がある。
